Nan Liu received his master degree from Beijing Normal University in 2008 and then joined Prof. Liping Wang’s team at SIAT as a research assistant. He became a PhD candidate in 2015. His main research interests are: 1) To study the neural mechanism of innate fear responses and the interactions between cortical and subcortical regions both from structures and functions with multi-disciplinary methods and tools. 2) To develop a microendoscope to detect the neuronal activities through calcium imaging in free moving animals.
