Dr. Wu received her PhD degree in the College of Life Science, Zhejiang University with Prof. shuqun Zhang. Her researches focused on the regulation mechanisms by MAPK cascades during leaf senescence in Arabidopsis.
In 2020 she joined Prof. Yu Chen‘s team at SIAT, where she focused on the role of nucleolar stress response in neurodegenerative disease. Using conditional gene deletion approaches, immunoassay and crosslinking mass spectrometry, her research aims at:
1.Investigating the mechanism for the nucleolar stress sensing in neurodegenerative disease.
2.Understanding the molecular pathology of neurodegenerative disorder resulting by nucleolar stress.
