Dr Hu received her PHD degree in Psychology from Sun Yat-Sen University in 2018. Then she joined Porf. Wang’s tem at SIAT as a postdoc researcher. Using behavioral, physiological, and brain imaging methods (e.g., event-related potentials, fNIRS, and fMRI), she explores the temporal and spatial dynamics of the human brain during tasks that challenge perception, attention, and emotion. Recent work has centered on characterizing neural mechanisms underlying attention deficits and bias in high-anxious but healthy participants, as well as patients diagnosed with anxiety and mood disorders.
