Dr. Zhao obtained her PhD degree in Cardiovascular Pharmacology from The University of Hong Kong, where she was instructed by Prof. Paul M. Vanhoutte. Her PhD studies focused on the acute and chronic impact of pressure on vascular responsiveness.
She joined the lab of Prof. Fan Yang in 2018. Her research interest mainly focuses on the role of blood vessels in the neural regulation of bone metabolism and underlying mechanism, especially the capillaries in bone marrow.
