Dr. Li obtained her PhD degree in Institute of Neuroscience, CAS, under the supervision of Dr. Haishan Yao. Her research found that phase-specific surround suppression in mouse V1 correlates with figure detection behavior based on phase discontinuity.
In 2018, Fengling joined the lab of Dr. Yingjie Zhu in BCBDI. She now focuses on identifying the role of BNST neurons in motivational behavior.
