Zhang received her PhD degree in neurophysiology from South China Normal University in 2017, then she joined Porf.Wang’s team at SIAT as a postdoc researcher. Her research focused on the neural mechanism of thalamic specific subregion in fear emotion and cognitive, as well as the neural circuits of autonomic nervous activity during fear condition, using optogenetic, multi-channel recording, immunofluorescence and animal behavior. She has published 4 research papers.
